Baking Cases & Parchment Buying Guide

Baking Cases and Parchment

Baking parchment is a kitchen essential for all types of baking because it works brilliantly for lining tins as it has a non-stick nature so removes the need for using softened butter or oil.  Similarly baking cases for different items such as muffins, petit fours and buns do not need greasing.  Both parchment and baking cases are available in different pack sizes on the Alliance website.

For further information on baking cases and parchment visit pastry and baking equipment in the Wholesale Kitchen Supplies section or contact the Alliance customer care team.

Piping Bags & Nozzles

Piping bags and nozzles come in a variety of different sizes to provide the perfect finish to cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and biscuits.  To make sure you get the decoration just right, have plenty of different size and shape nozzles and piping bags available.

Nozzles

These are sometimes referred to as “decorating tips”, nozzles fit on the end of the piping bags and come in different shapes and sizes to create a variety of looks when decorating.

Piping Bags

These are used to pipe icing, whipped cream, fill doughnuts, make pastries and can also be used to pipe mashed potatoes.  For thick doughs use nylon bags and for fatty products, use plastic coated or disposable bags.   There are washable bags and disposable bags available to choose from on the Alliance website.

Cake Boxes and Boards

Used for storage and delivery, cake boxes create a good looking finished product.  Keep a selection of different sizes available in smart, white cardboard and to accompany them, keep cut edge cake board and cake card in chic silver for perfect presentation.
