The Metcalfe 10lb (4.5kg) potato peeling machine is constructed from non-corrosive aluminium alloy castings, with the spindle housing & chute cast integrally, eliminating possible leakage.
The patented guarded discharge chute protects the user by preventing hand access through the door aperture whilst the machine is working.

Lubrication: There are no oiling or greasing points & no lubrication is required. All bearings are grease packed & permanently sealed.

Rotor Plate: Coated on both sides - fine on one side for new potatoes & coarse on the other.
The peeling chamber has cast-in abrasive serrations which removes the need for abrasive coating - this reduces potato loss.

Cleaning: Top casting is removable without tools for easy cleaning.
The waste disposal adaptor dispenses with the need for interceptors so the waste pipe can be connected directly to the drain. The adaptor provides an additional water supply to the waste outlet to flush away the sludge. Water Byelaws Scheme - Approved product when connected to a water header tank.
